CCI continues with its efforts for working on prevention of human trafficking. This time the work is focused on teachers and pupils from the urban and rural area, aiming at informing the youth about the complexity of this global problem, and creating of healthy environment for them relieved from suffering and violence.
Center for Civic Initiative is realizing this project in partnership with ACHR from Tirana Albania.
The aim of CCI and ACHR trough this project is to give contribution towards the decreasing of the human trafficking in Macedonia and Albania trough education of the teachers and the pupils about the human trafficking and to encourage the Ministries of Education for incorporating of the theme of human trafficking in the curriculum.
For accomplishing of this aim CCI educated 20 teachers from urban and rural areas from Macedonia about human trafficking and informed 20 pupils age 14 – 17 about this problem and the preventive measures for protection of the youth from human trafficking.
The interest of the youth about this problem will be shown trough their activities in the frames of the school clubs and the encouragement of the youth to create contents about human trafficking aiming at informing larger group of young people about the possible situations of becoming a victim of human trafficking.
The project will be realized in the period 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2008, founded by ifa Project zivik, Federal Foreign Office and Institute for Foreign culture Relation, Germany
