Management team of CCI, Goce Todorovski - Executive director and Daniela Barabanova -Administrator, made a visit to USA, aimed at development of the CCI's work. In a period from August 29, 2004 to September, 6, 2004 they had several working meetings in USA. During their visit they collected experiences about work of American foundations, their structure and interest for financing programs and projects in Macedonia and on the Balkans. Visit in USA was used for meetings with representatives of:
- Freedom House
- German Marchall Fund (GMF)
- Open Society Institute (OSI)
- National Endowment for Democracy (NED)
- Lalor Foundation
Those meetings enriched experience of CCI management team about structure and way of working of American Foundations. Also those meetings were used for concrete arrangements for financing future projects of CCI. This visit, in general, confirmed our expectation, and results from it will be seen in the future.
