The aim of this project is to make human trafficking top issue in the high school education by means of Macedonian and Albanian high school teachers and students’ active learning.
This project is aiming at making the issue of human trafficking part of the high school curricula by means of Macedonian and Albanian high school teachers and students’ active learning, as well as at making exchange of experiences between Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Serbia through transferring positive experiences of professors and students’ education and work with victims with the aim of influencing the prevention and protection of the children from human trafficking.
The Center for Civic Initiative and the Albanian center for human rights work on the training of the professional administration of the chosen schools so as to provide them with a fair amount of knowledge in the area of human trafficking as well as to enable them to use the Manual and methodological guide for the implementation of the educational lessons for protection from human trafficking, an experience transferred from Ludwig Boltzmann Institut für Menschenrechte.
Once the professional administration has received the necessary trainings, it started the process of knowledge dissemination to the professors. More than 30 professors are educated who in accordance with the Manual and methodological guide will be able to make materials so as to disseminate the knowledge to the students.
