As a part of the project “Strengthening of partnership in the local community” our program assistant Lidija Angelkova, during April 2006 has a study visit to USA. Actually she was part of the group of 16 leader NGOs, whose study visit to USA was organized by USAID. Angelkova during the visit in USA, took part in a special designed program for advocacy from the Advocacy Institute from Washington DC, USA.
The program offered exchanging experience with representatives of relevant institutions from the Civic Sector and Advocacy practitioners as well as visit to the USA Congress in Washington D.C and exchanging experience with the staff of the Congressmen Mark Souder и Congressmen Eliot Engel. As a part of the program Angelkova visited Macedonian Embassy in Washington and many organizations-current and future partners and donors of CCI as NED and League of Women Voters.
