The project addressed introduction of the citizens about decentralization and what does it means for local development as well as introduction with forms of citizens’ inclusion in the creation of public police. The project also addressed institutions as implementers of the process and citizens as vital actors of the process.
Citizen awareness and establishment of communication among citizens and local Government we were trying to achieve through our work with Urban Communities as basic element of local community. We realized that through organization of forums in the Urban Communities. The forums aroused huge interest of the citizens and brought practical results- established cooperation with the Local Government and realization of joint projects and activities.
The project was funded by the US Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia and implemented in the period from 27.09.2005 to 27.07.2006
