The goal of the project was to create more efficient public administration via simplifying information flow to the citizens. The project involved three public institutions in Bitola: Municipal Center for Social Work and Tax Administration Department and Local Government in Bitola. During project realization were transferred experiences from similar project which CCI has realized in Prilep.
Namely, this project and its activities in Prilep gave the foreseen results, and in some segments they exceeded the expectations. CCI, as an organization decided to expand its activities and to transfer its experiences to other institutions and other milieus. The financier of this project supported this idea of CCI, so from 15.07.2004 this project was expanded. Namely, in the middle of July 2004 CCI started to work in Bitola.The implementing of the activities within the enlargement of this project also involved representatives (the managers) of the public institutions in Prilep, in order they to transfer their experience to Bitola. Monitoring of the work of a public institutions in Bitola gave great results. Monitoring team delivered on time its notes to the public institutions included in project, so they worked towards removing the problems. On the meeting organized to promote project results, representatives of public institutions from Bitola stress out in front of participants and media which of the given notes from the monitoring team were corrected in order to improve their services. The project with the public institutions in Bitola started on 15.07.2004, and finished on 15.02.2005. It was funded by the British Embassy in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
