This project aimed at creating more efficient public administration by simplifying information flow to the citizens. The project included 3 public institutions in Prilep: Center for Social Care – Prilep, Units of Local Government-Prilep and Department of tax administration – Prilep. Namely, in order to improve the work of the public administration and experiences exchange, a coordinative body consisted of the managers of these institutions was established, and foreseen results – more efficient public administration - was planned to be realized by a serial of trainings and meetings.
In order to determine the real problems and deficiencies and to provide their elimination, monitoring teams were formed. These monitoring teams were working in the public institutions. Namely, these monitoring teams made surveillance under the work of public clerks, their attitude toward citizens and determined methods and models to overcome them.
The results of this project were a huge benefit for the citizens and contributed towards bringing closer the European standards for functioning of public administration.
The project was funded by British embassy in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia and it was realized from 15.11.2003 to 15.11.2004.
