In October 1997 CCI was an organizer and a host of a very important event, the conference for “Balkan Neighbors” project, an OSI - USA funded media-monitoring project. This Balkan conference took place in Ohrid, Macedonia. Representatives from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Romania and Hungary participated in this event. This event received big attention and publicity in both the local and national media, as well as by OSCE (EU).
In November 1, 1997 CCI sponsored a public lecture given by Mrs. Patty Whitelaw-Hill, wife of U.S. Ambassador in Macedonia, Chris Hill, on the subject of “The importance of people being involved in public service and NGO work for the democracy development process” .
In the middle of November 1997 our guest was a representative from OSCE, Mrs. Tatjana Seyppel. On that occasion we conducted a public lecture on the subject “OSCE, Organizational Structure and its Mission in Macedonia and the World”.
In May, 2000, CCI organized two public lectures in Prilep and Krivogastani on the subject “Children rights through treatment of the harmed children within law procedures and juvenile delinquents”. After realization of the lectures, few months latter CCI organized two more lectures.
In February, 2001 CCI in collaboration with ISC and American Embassy in Macedonia held round table on the following topics: 
- Local authorities,
- Elections processes and
- How NGO members are influencing public opinion
- Besides the representatives of the organizing institutions, the event was participated by his Excellency, Mr. Mike Einik, the Ambassador of United States in Macedonia, who actively took part in the discussion.
