Project aim was improvement of the living conditions of Roma people in the Pelagonia region (Prilep and Bitola), especially in the health matters, access to information and level of organization and strengthens of the Roma NGO.
The aim was achieved through everyday meetings with Roma population, increased capacity of Roma NGOs and has been established Body in the municipality in Prilep for Roma issues that will take care for health condition of the Roma population.
Activities that were used in order to achieve the goal are: trainings for Roma NGOs, meetings with Roma population, establishment of monitoring teams that will monitoring the quality of public services for Roma people, creation of reports, forming Coordinative Bodies in Prilep and Bitola that improve the leaving conditions of Roma people in the region.
Center for Civic Initiative-Prilep was the leading organization in the project realization and partner organization the Roma NGO "Romani Sukaripa" from Prilep
Period of project realization was from 01.01.2005 to 31.12.2005
The project was founded from Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia- Skopje
