In October 1997 CCI was an organizer and a host of a very important event, the conference for “Balkan Neighbors” project, an OSI - USA funded media-monitoring project. This Balkan conference took place in Ohrid, Macedonia. Representatives from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Romania and Hungary participated in this event.
