The project "Building a Cooperation" was realized at the end of 2002, from 25 November to 14 December. The project was realized in a partnership with Foundation for Development of  Local Democracy from Warsaw and it was funded by Ministry for Foreign Affairs from Republic of Poland. CCI has a very fruitful cooperation with this foundation since November 2000. The aim of the project was to deepen the cooperation between NGOs and the citizens on one side and ULG on the other side.
Firstly, we had a working visit from the trainers of Foundation for Development of Local Democracy from Warsaw who besides the theory, they transferred all the experience in Poland on a very successful way. Besides the knowledge we gained for the cooperation between NGO and ULG in Poland, they also gave us very interesting directions and proposals for improving this cooperation. It was actually training for trainers who would further work on trainings for representatives of NGO and ULG in six municipalities of the Republic of Macedonia. 
The trainings foreseen with the project Building Strategy for Cooperation of the Local Authorities and the NGOs were conducted in the period 3rd-14th December 2002 in the following municipalities: Prilep, Bitola, Krusevo, Krivogastani, Zitose, Demir Hisar. There were 24 representatives from NGOs and Local Government in these municipalities participating on these trainings.
According to the evaluation of the project, it achieved its goal and we should emphasize the fact that on these meetings there were made first contacts of some local governments with the representatives of NGO.
