Within the “Youth program 2000 for Macedonia” funded by Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia-Skopje, CCI from 15 August 2000 started with realization of the project called “Babylon youth workshops” which existed in correlation and continuity with the then existing “Youth and children centers - Babylon” project and it ended in December the same year. This project was directed to youth (age from 14-21) involved in existing eight centers.
The idea was organizing of series of training and workshops framed in the centers pointed to the youth and parents.
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia. The program included 950 young people and about 1000 parents of the children involved in the Babylon centers in the cities: Prilep, Veles, Krushevo, Radovis, Stip, Kumanovo, Tetovo and Struga. It also included material support for the centers and the local NGOs.
